Passion and Excellence

I have three passions: technical writing, flying, and SCUBA diving.

I began my technical writing career writing about semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Since then I've moved into the software documentation realm, writing user guides, tutorials, and API documentation.

I started flying when I was only 18, while in the United States Air Force and stationed in Mississippi. I currently hold FAA Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor, as well as Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Pilot certificates.

SCUBA diving is a relatively new passion, I started diving in 2018 as a PADI certified Open Water diver. Over the course of time, I've progressed with certifications as a Rescue Diver. In December of 2022, Imoved into the ranks of professional divers becoming a PADI Divemaster.

Excellence

I strive for excellence in everything I do. I was taught from a young age that if anything is worth doing, it is worth doing well.

It is the characteristic excellence of the strong man that he can bring momentous issues to the fore and make a decision about them. The weak are always forced to decide between alternatives they have not chosen themselves.
